Born and raised in Brooklyn, Michael Palms (DJ Mikey Palms) came up as a DJ from a very early age. He earned recognition as the owner of two former major music venues: Southpaw and Public Assembly (1999 — 2013), as well as producer for many outdoor events in the five boroughs. As a DJ, Palms uses his fluency and knowledge of music to create mosaics of sound to bring joy to the world (at least he thinks he does). He's been DJing professionally for over twenty years, and makes the culture happen while he moves the people. He has provided the soundtrack for a huge range of events - everything from house parties, block parties, and glamping throw downs to huge corporate events. He is currently a family man raising two daughters and DJ's all over the tri-state area.
