From 5:30 – 7:30pm, Kaufman Center presents student chamber groups, ages 8-18, from Special Music School and Lucy Moses School performing classical and holiday music at TD Bank at 68th Street and Broadway. Enjoy holiday cookies and drinks courtesy of TD Bank.

Visit Samsung Experience on the third floor of Time Warner Center for a musical treat featuring some of New York City’s most talented students, including: La Guardia High School’s Show Choir (6:00pm), jazz violinist Jonathan Russell and soprano He Ho Son from the Professional Children’s School (6:30pm) and Frank Sinatra School of the Arts Chamber Singers (7:00pm).

New York Institute of Technology’s Festival of Lights is going to be held at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway between 61st and 62nd Street from 6:30pm – 9:30pm. The Festival of Lights is an event where the students of NYIT come together to educate and celebrate their different cultures. The holidays that will be represented are: Hanukkah, Christmas, Eid, Diwali and Kwanzaa. There will be performances representing each holiday ranging from singers, dancers, musicians, and poetry. Each holiday represented will be passing out items that represent the culture. Come and enjoy food, entertainment, and culture with the NYIT family!

At the Professional Children’s School, located just west of Columbus Avenue on 60th Street, student singers, dancers and instrumentalists will delight all with a Classical and Popular sampling at 6:00pm.
