New Children’s Book Reading & Signing with the Honorable Ed Koch

Ed Koch, former New York City Mayor and local celebrity, will join in on the Winter’s Eve festivities at Kids’ Central at the American Bible Society, Broadway and 61st. He will read from his latest children book, “Eddie Shapes Up,” written in partnership with his sister Pat Koch Thaler and published by Zagat Survey. The book, which tells the story of a boy named Eddie, who with the support of his friends and family, decides to change his lifestyle in order to make his life happier and healthier. With a forward from President Bill Clinton and illustrations by Jonathan Hoefer, this fun book will inspire readers of all ages to eat right, exercise regularly and always join in on the fun! Mr. Koch will host a meet-and-greet immediately following the reading, where he will sign copies of the book, which will be on sale at the venue.
