Joanie Leeds & the Nightlights will bring their joyful sense of adventure to Winter’s Eve as they rock Kids’ Central at the American Bible Society on Broadway and 61st Street!
Children of all ages and their families and friends will jam together as Joanie belts out some parent-pleasing tunes and the Nightlights rock their electric guitars. Called a “rock star” by Time Out New York Kids, Joanie surely has earned her place on the Kindie music scene with a Parents Choice Award and three TELLY Awards for her full length DVD, City Kids Live.
Kids’ Central will also have some activities from some great Upper West Side organizations, including the West Side Y, New York Society for Ethical Culture and bite-sized cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and lots of fun. Click here for more information.

With a crew of four puppeteers and two or three musicians, Arm-of-the-Sea Theater will present four different roving scenes throughout the evening. Each scene will involve larger-than-life mask characters and puppet figures together with live music.
For over twenty years, Arm-of-the-Sea has been developing a style of magical realism that marries the mythic and the everyday, humanity and the earth, visual arts and natural science, poetry and politics.
