Arts, Crafts & More Family Fun!
November 8, 2011
Take a break from all the entertainment to celebrate your creativity with these family-friendly activities!
On the second floor of Time Warner Center, have fun with Big Apple Circus performers and celebrate the season of giving with DOROT by making holiday cards for seniors in the community.
At Kids’ Central at the American Bible Society (Broadway and 61st Street), don’t miss the face-painting and tattoo station hosted by the West Side YMCA, a seed-planting activity courtesy of the New York Society for Ethical Culture, and a cross cultural craft activity with Folk Arts Rajasthan. Plus, at MOBIA, children of all ages will have the opportunity to participate in a bookmaking activity.
Meet a surprise costumed character in front of the Tisch WNET Studios at Lincoln Center, on Broadway and 66th Street!
There will also be storytelling and small gifts for kids at the New York Public Library’s Riverside Branch, 66th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Finally, we are lucky enough to have three Santas visiting Lincoln Square during Winter’s Eve- say hi to Santa at Gracious Home (1992 Broadway at 67th Street), take a professional picture with Santa at Brooks Brothers (1934 Broadway at 65th Street), and meet St. Nicholas at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle (Columbus Avenue at 60th Street). St. Paul’s will also be hosting a special screening of Charlie Brown’s Christmas.
